Retreat From Rostov Part One:
November 4 through November 13, 1941

Retreat From Rostov Part Two:
November 14 through November 24, 1941

Retreat From Rostov Part Three:
November 25 through December 7, 1941

This series contains the entire text of Retreat From Rostov, a highly-acclaimed World War II novel that launched Paul Hughes’ writing career in 1943. This epic literary masterpiece brings to breath-taking life the story of thirty-four days in late 1941, which saw armies of Adolph Hitler defeated for the first time at Rostov in the North Caucasus.

Retreat From Rostov debuts The Paul Hughes Collection.  Each of the three parts is available in e-book editions at Amazon Kindle and at Smashwords.com.  E-book editions are also available via Apple iPad, Barnes & Noble and Kobo Online Stores, Sony, and Diesel eBook Store.

Print editions will formally debut at the Tucson Festival of Books, March 10-11, 2012 at the University of Arizona.  This annual event has attracted over 100,000 attendees in each of the past two years.

Advance printed editions are available and ready for shipping in the United States and Canada.  To get the special discounted price for the three-book set, go to Book Gallery.

So you want to publish your book?

Coming soon—The Self-Publishing Formula, a nuts and bolts report that tells, step by step, how to get published in today’s digital-dominated world.

And how to do so at rock-bottom costs for both e-book and print editions without sacrificing production quality.

Self-publishing “gurus” are popping up everywhere.  Some are honest and offer good information. But there are an increasing number of folks dead set on fleecing their clients.

UCS PRESS founder Jim Dobkins, who has authored and co-authored 11 books, constantly is told by people he meets, “I’m writing a book.”  Or, “I want to write a book.”

And the next comment often is, “How can I get it published?  Would you be interested in publishing my book?”

Over the past few years – especially the past two years – UCS PRESS has stopped doing print-runs of 5,000 and 10,000 books at a whack, which can be a real crap-shoot in today’s super fickle print-edition market.

UCS PRESS has deep-sixed that traditional publishing business model.

And it’s working.

Simple to do.

Surprisingly low cost.

UCS PRESS e-book editions are available via major e-book sales venues, including Amazon Kindle, Apple iPad, Diesel, Kobo, Barnes & Noble, Sony, Smashwords, and Stanza.

The company’s print editions are available in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Kingdom and Europe.

How simple – and low cost – this is done will blow your mind.

If you are an aspiring author who wants to get your first book published;
a veteran author fed up with traditional publishing; or a small press publisher who could benefit from this business model . . . then this special report is for you.

Stay tuned to this web site for further information about this self-publishing business model. You can learn how to set it up just by following the blueprint in The Self-Publishing Formula.

It is the publishing model of the future that people in the know are using today.
