This book has been twice optioned as a possible film.  A film script, Mountain of Pain, is in development.  It is based on this novel.
 
The story is actually a story within a story—more like a movie within a story.  Certain people and governments do not want the truth out about the adventurers’ discovery.  In the bowels of W.I.T.C.H. (Washington Intelligence Technological Control Hospital) Dr Henrietta Hink is given an ultimatum to put her theories to practice and convert Tony Downs’ memory into a film so that what the agent has seen or not seen on Mt. Ararat can be visually documented.  All but the opening and closing chapters are what Tony’s brain has preserved—as Dr. Hink succeeds in getting his edited memory into a movie format for the mysterious and feared Mr. Demont.

_Jim Dobkins is a Southwest-based author.  His co-author credits include Winnie Ruth Judd: The Trunk Murders, Machine-Gun Man, The Ararat Conspiracy, and My Boss was the BTK killer. His solo author credits include The Peach Tree Limb and the soon-to-be released report,The Self-Publishing Formula.He conceptualized and wrote the dramatized short documentary "Someone Who Cares" and has ghostwritten several books. Jim has written over 1,000 articles. Primarily known as a crime writer, he now focuses on writing inspirational books and collaborating with Russ Miller on books in The GENESIS Heritage Report Series. Dobkins resides with his wife Marty in Prescott, Arizona.

Ellie Gordon, now deceased, lived in Scottsdale, Arizona where she was an active member of Toastmasters.  A former supper club singer, artist's model and television entertainer, she also was an accomplished song writer and poet.
